Royal Trinity Hospice
Their bereavement team is on hand to support family members, friends, children and carers through the emotional impact of grief. There is no time limit for this support. Understanding and coping with bereavement can be very difficult for children and young people. This is why they offer bereavement support specifically for them. They also provide guidance to parents and carers on how to explain death and grief to children and offer advice to help families and teachers support a child or young person through this experience. The bereavement team also organises events throughout the year that allow bereaved families, friends, and carers to remember, celebrate and reflect upon the lives of those who have died.
